Start in-house weekly training for employees: Government tells secretaries

NEW DELHI: With Prime Minister Narendra Modiemphasising on providing regular training to government employees, the Centre has asked all secretaries to start in-house weekly training for employees working under them.

The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) has sought an action taken report from them, for apprising the Prime Minister's Office, in case the training has already been initiated by them.

Subject: To start in-house Weekly Training in all Ministries/Departments

The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’s OM of even number dated 17th October 2014 (copy enclosed) wherein all Ministries / Departments were requested to start hourly in-house weekly training for their employees immediately. However information in this regard is awaited.

2.All Ministries / Departments are again requested to start hourly in-house weekly trainingand to inform the action taken to this Department for apprising the PMO
